At what age should one start to use an anti-aging serum?Q

You are never too young to start using a serum. Ideally, you should begin using a serum before the signs of skin damage are visible to the human eye and continue to use them long-term for a brighter more even complexion that is firmer and more beautiful over the years..A
    Are all serums the same?Q
Not all serums are the same. Look for serums with the anti-aging ingredients that are proven effective based on independent, peer-reviewed research..A
How much serum should I use?Q

Serums are formulated with smaller molecules that are packed with a very high concentration of powerful anti-aging active ingredients so only a few drops and a very thin layer are required. Follow our serums with a good moisturizer and/or eye cream and you will see great results..A
What is the difference between a serum and a moisturizer?Q
    1. Serums come in liquid and gel form and are lightweight, quickly and easily absorbing into the skin making them suitable for all skin types.

    2. Serums contain fewer moisturizing ingredients including the oils, lubricants and thickening agents that create the thicker, creamier texture of a lotion or rich cream. Instead, a serum is packed with a very high concentration of powerful anti-aging active ingredients.

    3. Serums are more expensive than moisturizers because active ingredients are more expensive than thickeners.

    4. A serum can penetrate deeper than a moisturizing lotion or cream. Made up of smaller molecules, a serum is able to penetrate into all three layers of the skin. Whereas a moisturizer, made up of larger molecules, will not penetrate as deeply as a serum is capable of. Due to their large molecules, moisturizers can only penetrate the first layer of the skin.

    5. While facial serums do provide added moisture, the primary difference between a serum and a moisturizer is that a serum can deliver powerful nutrients into deeper layers of your skin than a regular moisturizer can.A

In what order should I apply my skin care products?Q
    1. Wash and pat skin dry. Never rub or tug your skin.

    2. Apply Toner. If using a toner, start with your toner.

    3. Apply Serum. Wait until the serum is fully absorbed (dry) before applying the next layer.

    4. (Nighttime Only) Apply Retin-A or Retinol. Wait until the retinol is fully absorbed before applying the next layer.

    5. Apply Eye Gel and/or Moisturizer. Wait until the gel and/or moisturizer is absorbed before applying the next layer.

    6. Apply Sunscreen. (If not already including in your moisturizer.)A

When should I start to see results?Q
The length of time from when you start our serums until you see results varies with each person. The texture and consistency of your skin should start to improve after only a few days. Most people will start to see a brighter complexion and improvements in coloration as soon as 2-4 weeks, it may take others 6-8 weeks to see a significant difference. After around 6 months, you’ll reach the maximum benefits.A

Can I use the serum around the eyes?Q
Yes, we recommend the use of our product over your entire face including around the eyes. Our product nourishes and revitalizes the delicate skin around your eyes. Just be careful not to get any in your eyes. If this happens flush with water .A
What is the difference between a serum and a moisturizer?Q
Serums in liquid and gel form are water-based and therefore lightweight, quickly and easily absorbing into the skin making them suitable for all skin types. Serums contain fewer moisturizing ingredients including the oils, lubricants and thickening agents that create the thicker, creamier texture of a lotion or rich cream. Serums also leave out any sunscreen additives that a daytime moisturizer might contain. Instead, a serum is packed with a very high concentration of powerful anti-aging active ingredients. Serums are more expensive than moisturizers because active ingredients are more expensive than thickeners. Formulated with smaller molecules, serums penetrate deep into skin faster and more effectively than a moisturizer. A serum can penetrate deeper than a moisturizing lotion or cream. Can I use a Retin-A or a Retinol product with your Premium Anti Aging Elixir?Q
Our serums work well with Retin-A and other Retinol based products. Both Retin-A and Retinol exfoliate your skin and will help our product work more effectively. If you have really sensitive skin and/or a light complexion be sure you are wearing a good sunscreen. Retinol based products make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Apply serums before Retin-A or Retinol. Finish with a good moisturizer.A
Are your products tested on animals?Q
We would never test any of our products on animals, except for those intended for animals. Oops! I might have let the proverbial cat out of the bag. Stay tuned for our line of natural and organic pet products coming soon.A
How long is the effective shelf life of your serums?Q
Our vitamin c serum has a shelf life of 2 years. Inventory doesn’t last long and we are constantly making fresh batches of this popular product. We use Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which is an extremely stable form of Vitamin C and is less prone to oxidation than other forms of Vitamin C and more effective for topical application. Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate bio-converts easily and is instantly absorbed into your skin.A
Do I need to refrigerate the serum?Q
Many of our customers prefer to refrigerate their serum to provide a nice cool feeling when you apply it to your skin, but it is not required and will not increase the effectiveness of the serum. Just remember to keep your serum out of direct sun light and avoid excessive heat. The amber bottles we use give our serums maximum protection and extend the effective shelf life of our serums at least 2 years, but we promise it works so well it will never last that long!A
